The Silk n Dye Festival is a special event happening every year in the month of December around the Kaziranga Heritage Reserve site in Assam. The Silk n Dye festival happens in the heart of the town within a few km from the heritage site of Kaziranga. In this festival, we can track a lot of items made of silk and dye like bags and garments. The UNESCO heritage site is famous for one-horned rhinoceros spread across four zones. But other groups of animals like deer and tigers and varied species from the feathered kingdom can be spotted. The zones are meant to be traversed by safari cars that operate from the park to the zonal areas. Numerous elephants can be spotted from where the entire region is visible.
