Chang la Pass is one of the highest motorable roads in the world situated in Leh, India. Chang La Pass connects Ladakh to Pangong Lake and is the gateway to the Changthang Plateau. The weather and temperature around Chang La Pass remain bitter cold throughout the year. It is difficult to traverse through the pass due to the narrow convolution, high slopes and requires master driving to surpass the obstructions and the difficulty prevailing in the region.
