The Trans Himalayan ranges in Leh surround the two rivers, creating a breathtaking landscape for travel photographers. The mountains are drier and arid than the normal Himalayas, as they belong to the Karakoram and Trans Himalayan ranges. Their different shapes and sizes create a striking effect, and the two rivers take a different color due to reflection, forging an analogy with the color of the sky. The cruise ride takes place for an hour, giving travelers life jacket protection and other precautionary and safety measures. These cruise riders stop their business activity after 5 PM due to the lack of visitors and a shortage of light.
It is a one-hour drive from Ladakh’s capital city, which can be taken as a half-day entry and viewpoint for travelers with important monasteries and stupas plunging in the median. The vista of the confluence of Indus and Zanskar magnifies the scenic beauty, and river rafting services available for young travelers add charisma to the enchantment. It would be a wise idea to take a river ride to witness the confluence of these two big rivers and note the color differences. The canal is narrow at the confluence; once we go for the cruise ride, we can observe subtle changes in the water level. The water channel gradually increases as it goes deeper across the river, plunging mountains of the Trans Himalayas. This scene can be considered a great place to shoot films with actors and directors willing to launch their next generation of movies to gain publicity and increase production.
