#1 Ladakh
- Location
Ladakh is a region that is a component of the broader Kashmir area and is managed by India as a union territory.

Leh Palace
This nine-story, dun-colored building, which has a passing resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa (Tibet), is Leh’s most prominent building and architectural landmark.
It was built during the reign of King Singge Namgyal in the 17th century, but since the Ladakhi royals were deposed and exiled to Stok in 1846, it has virtually lain vacant.
Shanti Stupa
Japanese monks constructed the Stupa between 1983 and 1991 in an effort to advance world peace.

Periyar Tiger Reserve
Periyar, had been a sanctuary since 1934, became Kerala’s first tiger reserve in 1978. All entrances to the reserve goes through the Kumily Ecotourism Center.
