   Reasonable accommodation is a priority on any trip and the primary thing to consider before planning a trip to Singapore. If you forget to start using the Grab app all the time without Wi-Fi, you can quickly rack up some hefty charges, so just be careful.

Some great high-end restaurants offer a wide range of traditional cuisines and fantastic fusion food that combines traditions from around Asia and the world.    Singapore is fantastic. But it’s not just about the high-end food; Singapore has an amazing street food culture that you should also try. There are plenty of food markets where you’ll find cheap authentic food from India, China, and Malaysia in one place. Hainanese Chicken Rice is often considered Singapore’s national dish. The process of boiling it in water and then dunking it into an ice bath makes it incredibly tender and juicy; you’ve never had chicken like it before. It’s usually served with a delicious rice dish cooked in chicken fat. Char Kway Teow is another favorite street food of locals and tourists alike. This simple stir-fried noodle dish with bean sprouts, cockles, and Chinese sausage is ideal if you want a delicious meal on the go. While in Singapore, make sure you sample a wide range of food because there is so much variety there, and you don’t want to miss out. Drinking tap water is something that people often worry about when they go abroad, but in Singapore, it’s okay. Get and refill a bottle; you can save a lot of money and reduce your plastic use.

4. Packing for the weather before the trip.

   
   The climate in Singapore is incredibly hot and humid for most of the year, but it’s not always bright sunshine. The rain comes down heavily and without warning often, even though it’s nice and warm, you should always carry a raincoat. Wear light fabrics to deal with the humidity and get yourself a small raincoat that you can pack in your bag and carry around with you, and you should be fine.

5. Don’t Miss the Beaches during the Singapore trip.

   
   When you’re in the middle of the bustling metropolis, it’s easy to forget that Singapore has many incredible beaches to visit. It’s the ideal way to relax for a day if you’ve been particularly active while you’re there. If you’re staying with the family, Palawan Beach is the best choice because it has a great water park, lively beach bars, and beautiful clear waters. If you want something more relaxing, Pasir Ris Beach, with its nature trails and picturesque picnic spots, is perfect.
