3. Portmeirion Village, Gwynned

Portmeirion is a bewitching Italianate model village in the gorgeous Welsh county of Gwynned that is considered one of the best British beauty spots.

Staying there for the weekend is like walking through the pages of a fairy tale and it’s a favorite spot for weddings.

4. Kynance Cove, Cornwall

Kynance Cove is nestled on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, an ancient Celtic kingdom in England’s southwest that has a distinct language and culture.

This terrific tidal beach is famous for its gravity-defying rock stacks, white sand beach, and aquamarine water, and it’s home to a rare species of crow called the chough, rare lichens, and even wild asparagus!

Tip: please check local tidal times as the beach disappears completely at certain times of the day.

5. Langamull Beach, Isle of Mull

Located on the Isle of Mull off Scotland’s northwest coast, this beautiful beach has white sand, turquoise waters, and a smattering of rocky scrubland.

It’s so breathtakingly beautiful that it’s sometimes called the Mull Caribbean and once you’re relaxing there on a clear day you’ll experience the magic for yourself.
